Titan Comics' Full Plans At NY Comic Con 2018

This New York Comic-Con, Titan Comics (booth #2142) brings a fantastic offering of exciting debuts, limited editions, NYCC variants and appearances from a host of creators including Jody Houser (Thirteenth Doctor), V.E. Schwab (Shades of Magic: The Steel Prince), Bill Morrison (The Beatles’ Yellow Submarine), Jeremy Whitley (Sea Of Thieves), Ryan O'Sullivan (Dark Souls), Robert Hack (Doctor Who), Sylvain Runberg (Millennium), George Mann (Newbury & Hobbes), Cynthia von Buhler (Minky Woodcock) and Alex Paknadel & Dan Watters (Assassin’s Creed), plus many more talented people.

NYCC 2018 sees the debut V.E. Schwab’s hotly-anticipated Shades of Magic: The Steel Prince prequel comic book – set in the world of her New York Times bestselling fantasy novel series – with the first issue debuting exclusively at the show with a special variant by artist, Tomm Coker. V.E. Schwab will discuss the origins of this new exciting project at an unmissable panel on Saturday, October 6 at 12:15 PM in room 1B03. Plus, V.E. Schwab will be signing copies of her debut comic on Friday, October 5 at 12:30PM and on Saturday, October 6 at 2PM at Titan booth #2142 with series cover artist Claudia Ianniciello.

Beatles fans can celebrate the 50th Anniversary of The Beatles’ Yellow Submarine as Titan debuts its special Yellow Submarine Limited Box Set, which includes the critically acclaimed Yellow Submarine graphic novel, a 6.5-inch Yellow Submarine figurine/vinyl, 16 Yellow Submarine lobby cards plus four Yellow Submarine posters (based on the originals), five Beatles badges, a replica Yellow Submarine movie premiere ticket, and an exclusive art card signed by writer/artist Bill MorrisonPlus, Bill Morrison will be signing this Limited Box Set and the new smash-hit graphic novel on Friday, October 5 at 11AM, Saturday, October 6 at 3:30PM and on Sunday, October 7 at 1PM at Titan booth #2142.

Friday at NYCC is a Doctor Who-themed day for Titan kicking off with signings at Titan booth #2142 including the creative talent behind Doctor Who: The Thirteenth Doctor #0, which hits NYCC with a special convention variant by Giorgia Sposito and Arianna Florean. Signing starts at 2:15PM. And then straight after, join Jody Houser and cover artists Kelly Yates and Robert Hack who’ll be signing copies of Doctor Who: Road To The Thirteenth Doctor comic series at 3:30PM.  Plus, don’t miss a huge Doctor Who comic panel featuring comics talent, Jody Houser, Arianna Florean, Claudia Ianniciello and Mariano Laclaustra. Join the team as they take you on the Road to the Thirteenth Doctor in this special comic panel on Friday, October 5 at 5:15PM in Room 1B03.

Following the exciting news that The Girl Who Handcuffed Houdini has been adapted into an immersive theatre show, which opened last week at Theater 80 in New York City, creator Cynthia von Buhler is making a special NYCC appearance at Titan booth #2142 on Thursday, October 4 at 3:30PM where she will be signing copies of the critically-acclaimed graphic novel. Cynthia will be joined by by “Minky Woodcock muse” Pearls Daily and Hard Case Crime founder, Charles Ardai. Running until November 11, audience members at the immersive theatre show can experience séances, illusions and Houdini’s infamous Water Torture Chamber Escape while exploring three floors of a restored 1920s speakeasy. Other Titan comic exclusives and signings available at the show include: an exclusive show variant for Robotech #13 by Dan Parent; Thursday morning October 4 is a special video games celebration with two comic signings - an Assassin’s Creed signing with writers Anthony Del Col (Assassin’s Creed: Origins), Alex Paknadel and Dan Watters (Assassin’s Creed: Uprising) at 11AM; and then Jeremy Whitley (Sea of Thieves), Ryan O’Sullivan (Dark Souls: Age of Fire), and Ram V (Quake Champions) at 12:30PM; Peter Milligan will be at the Titan booth #2142 on Friday October 5 from 5PM, to sign copies of the recent revivals of cult-psychological sci-fi caper, The Prisoner and The Mummy – based on the classic cult Hammer films creation!; George Mann celebrates the 10th Anniversary of his Newbury & Hobbes novels with his brand-new comic tie-in and will be signing copies on Sunday, October 7 at 2:30PM at Titan booth #2142; and Sylvain Runberg, Belen Ortega, and Claudia Ianniciello will be signing copies of their latest comic, Millenium The Girl Who Danced With Death – based in the world of Stieg Larsson’s crime noir phenomenon – at Titan booth #2142 on Thursday, October 4 at 5PM.
