Interview with Harriet SugarCookie pt 2 (NSFW)

Baldwin A Saintilus: So, on your website, you met with a fan recently. How was that?

Harriet SugarCookie: That was a bit of a trigger title. She was actually a friend of mine from before, but she didn't tell me that she watched my shows. She came in my show and she actually talked to me and to everyone. It never clicked that it was her. And then I was getting these messages from her. I was like, "Oh, it's one of these people.", 'Cause I actually make a pretty big rule of not meeting up with people one-on-one. I think it can be dangerous. I trust everyone, I really do, but there's still that percentage, that small chance that you meet someone that it's going to be dangerous. So rather than take that risk, I try not to. But she was trying to get me to meet up with her and she had to drop some really stupid clues that it was her. When it clicked, I was like, "Oh my God. I can't believe you've been watching me for months. How can I not tell it was you?" 'Cause I'm a dense, dense person.

[chuckle]

BAS: Well, at least it was someone you can actually trust as opposed to it was just a random fan. So that's always a good thing.

HSC: Yeah. [chuckle] It was kind of weird. She genuinely was a fan. She really had been watching for so long, and it was weird but it was flattering. I don't know, I think that's one of the occupational hazards of this job, when your friends start admiring you in that way 'cause you think, "Oh, but I'm still the same person." But it's also a compliment 'cause it means that they like your material as well and they think its good quality stuff. [chuckle]

BAS: Are you going to do more with her? Or was that just a onetime thing?

HSC: I probably won't do more stuff with her. She's got a boyfriend now and they're very happy together. But I do want to do more girl-girl content. I think that's the area my website lacks the most. Because like I said, I find sex and stuff to be very intimate and personal. So I've had offers from other cam girls and other stars to work with them. But if I meet them and don't have chemistry with them... Some of them outright said that they weren't bisexual; they just did it for work. I didn't want to do that. So that's why there's not that much girl-girl content. But at the moment, I'm actually talking to some girls and they're American, and we're trying to come up with ways of meeting when I'm in Vegas. And I think there's going to be new girl-girl content up very soon with that.

BAS: So there will be a Vegas vacation video coming soon

HSC: Yeah. I hope so. It'll still be very tiring, I think. I've never done a convention nor an award show like that. So I'm really nervous. I don't know what it's going to be like. But I think it'll be a lot of fun.

BAS: Yeah, guaranteed, you'll have a great time. Gio from Words from the Master blog goes to Vegas every year for AVN, so he knows a few buffets that'll definitely keep you fed.

HSC: Oh, sounds good. I want to go to a sushi buffet 'cause they don't exist in England. But goddamn, I want to I hear about them. And I'm just like "I don't care if its bad sushi, I just want to go just to see."

[chuckle]

BAS: Yeah we have that in New York. We have one sushi buffet and we have a few restaurants where we have sushi on a conveyor belt, going around the whole place.

HSC: Oh, I wanna eat sushi now. [chuckle]

BAS: The one thing I do like about your site is that your cosplay isn't limited to just fictional characters. You play the secretary or the school girl; you play various roles on your site.

HSC: It's not like I'm so exclusively cosplay. I think it's just personality-wise; I'm just someone that likes to dress up and role play. [chuckle] But I think whether I found out about cosplay or not, I will have always been someone that's like that. You can look through my photos and stuff, and like the fact that I wear wigs, even in non-cosplay situations, I like being able to change how I look. I like that, and I think if you go through pictures and stuff you'll see that my appearance has changed a lot. It's not so much that I'm not satisfied with any of the looks, I like them all. But I just like variety, and I like change.

BAS: Definitely.

HSC: And the thing is, I think a lot of them suit me, and I'm just like, "Oh, well this looks really good. Oh, but this looks really good, too!" And I'm just very indecisive.

BAS: And I guess the follow-up to that is, do you see yourself doing feature adult films for your site?

HSC: Maybe a parody. I think it would be really fun to do a parody of like a comic or something like that. Something that is just so ridiculously outrageous that it's obviously a parody. But I do find when they try to give porn a plot, it just feels a little bit more fake. With me, it's very much I'm doing this 'cause I want to and I have a little introduction, but it's not like, "Oh, I ordered pizza and now I'm going to fuck the pizza man." For me that just feels a little bit too stupid. But if it was a parody then I'd be all up for it.

BAS: I feel the story helps just because porn can get boring when just random girl(s) shows up and then there's sex.

HSC: I think that's why when you have genuine stuff it feels a lot better 'cause you can see the chemistry between people. This is something that I don't do in my videos mostly because my partner doesn't want to show his face, but if you see porn where they kiss and stuff, like they have that moment where they start off by kissing and they're slowly removing each other's clothes and things, I think it builds up, like that's the foreplay. I don't need ridiculous setups for it, but I certainly do think there needs to be something to lead into the sex. I don't think it should just be three seconds in they're having sex.

BAS: That much I agree. You were recently doing a search escorts. How was that going?

HSC: I don't know if you've read the Cookie Questions stuff where I try and answer, give advice and stuff that people ask, and I actually got a lot of stuff about "Oh, how much is it to sleep with you?" and a lot of things like that. And at first I was kind of repulsed by it. I was kind of like, "I'm not for sale, I'm not selling myself." And then I actually thought, I'm being really hypocritical here because I'm almost looking down on escorts, on sex workers because when I thought that people comparing me to them I was very offended by it. And yeah, I cam and make videos, so I kind of went through a moment of realizing that wasn't a good way to be. I tried to put myself in their shoes and I guess it sounded exciting. I wouldn't do it with a guy but for some reason because I was looking at girl escorts and stuff, it just seemed really exciting.

And it's really stupid, but I almost wanted to meet them and just ask them about how it was and how things worked for them, and if they enjoy it and stuff. But obviously you can't ask them that sort of stuff, it would be rude. But this was all before the AVN nomination happened and when that happened, a lot of the things that I was doing got put on hold 'cause I have a limited budget, and the money that I was going to spend to meet an escort, I'm now putting towards the air ticket, the airplane flight and stuff. So, it's kind of on the backburner right now, but after the AVNs and stuff, it's something I still want to pursue and just experience because I think it is an experience. And I think it sounds really stupid saying that I think it's educational, but I hated it when people made judgments about me, and I made judgments about them. I actually really respect what they do and the fact that they chose that. I think I'd like to. When I thought about it, I thought these are really strong women and I wanted to meet one. Plus, you know, I'm sure the sex would be really good. But whether or not I could actually do it, I'm not sure. Part of me is really nervous. I'm scared that I'll meet one and then I'll just be too scared to actually do anything, and we'll just sit and talk for the hour.

BAS: You could just talk and maybe build the confidence for maybe another time then.

HSC: Yeah. Exactly! It's definitely something I still want to pursue but I'm just going to have to save it for after Vegas.

BAS: I really hope that you have a great time during your stay in Vegas.

HSC: Oh, thank you. I will definitely be blogging about it. You will be definitely be kept up to date on everything.

BAS: I look forward to it.

HSC: Yay.

BAS: One of your biggest fantasies is the under the desk blowjob fantasy?

HSC: YES!

BAS: Yeah, you wrote a whole thing about that, which was great. I also read your blowjob technique thing and that was, for me, like if you were writing an amazing book. BJ Under the desk Fantasy

HSC: I think because it's a really is a big fantasy of mine, and it's the one that I have very often, I go through it a lot in my head. And I think of ways to make it good. Like I do think of it in that way of giving the blowjob, because this is fantasy I do a lot. And I think that's how it ended up like that, because I was trying to write it. But if you think about it, this is a piece that I've re-written time and time again in my own head, before I wrote it on paper so to speak. I think I did write a blog article on how to give a blowjob and how to kiss, actually.

'Cause, like you said, you know how you knew how to go down on a girl 'cause you watched porn. I think, it's actually a lot harder for girls to watch porn. Not so much when they're older, right? But when you're kind of like, young and sort of just getting into your sexuality. I think girls find it a lot more embarrassing to watch porn. So, if they could Google it, you know? I'd like to think I'm helping them in some way by like, making it simple. And obviously, I'm not saying I have the ultimate technique or anything like that, I'm constantly learning. I think it's very nice to hear it from an actual girl and not just from how a guy does it, how a guy likes it. 'Cause if you want to know how a guy likes it, you should ask your guy. But I think it helps because I'm writing in a way that girls will understand as well.

BAS: Definitely. As I said, it's a great read. The way you wrote it is just a nice way for someone to just look at it, to read it and get a full understanding of what exactly is going through your mind.

HSC: Yeah. [chuckle]

BAS: You're also an artist as well, right?

HSC: Yes, well aspiring, kind of. It's changed a lot. I mean what I want to do after all of this has just changed a bit since the art thing, so art and design and things. I love drawing, I love art. Comics were a very heavy influence on me when I was younger. And people say if you have something that you love then you should do what you love, 'cause making a career out of it is one of the best things you can make. So I always thought I'd go into art and stuff.

But since moving to London, it's very, very hard to be a successful artist and a successful designer. It sounds really defeatist, but I have some friends, Third years, graduates and stuff. and they are all good, their talent's undeniable. And they are doing like IT jobs, waitressing and stuff like that. And I don't think I'd be happy doing it like that. So at the moment, I'm just continuing doing the course I am, getting the maximum enjoyment and education from it. But I think afterwards, I'd rather go into a different career that helps that I am an artist. But I don't think I'm going to specifically look to be an artist, if that makes sense?

BAS: Yeah, that makes sense. Like what were some other things you would think about doing?

HSC: So, the other thing that I love just as much as art, would be food. I'm a home cook, you know, so I would really love to go to cooking classes, or take an apprenticeship in a bakery or a patisserie particularly. And I'd love to learn how to make cakes, tarts, and pastries. But where the market is open in the UK, I feel in Japan, where you have the really cute pastries, I want to do that and I think that's where my art would come in really well, too. Like being able to create desserts that also look mega-cute animals. So I don't know if you've seen any of my patisserie or my Bento Box ideas, but I'd like to make that sort of food more. I'd like to do something with that and especially encouraging kids to eat healthy. If I could bring out a line of lunch boxes that look really cute but are really healthy, and it's just like for people who have careers, like career mums and stuff, and they can't pack their kids lunches and stuff, that'd be really cool.

BAS: That's definitely a great idea. Maybe develop that more into a business plan.

HSC: But it's a long while away; I'm not even close to graduating yet, and I want to concentrate on what I'm doing now, but I think that I can certainly use the skills I've learned for about design and things. So I wish to continue practicing being able to apply it in real life, and I think combining it with my other love which is food and stuff, like... So yeah, those are things too that I'm thinking about, but I do love doing what I do with the website and with the camming and stuff. I don't know if I'd ever get into it full time, 'cause like at the moment, with the AVNs and everything, it is actually taking up a lot of time, a lot of work, making new videos and the social media side, it takes up a lot. And I don't know if I wish go into that and expand and see just how far I can take it; a part of me just wants to see like, "How far can I take this website?" If I can get other girls to work with me and help them be themselves and do this job, 'cause I like it and I think they like it. And I just think "Can I help other people as well be more independent, be more in control and everything?"
And I think I have to take time sometime in the future and just really sit down and be like, "Do I want to take this further? Do I want to help geeky girls and people that don't want to lose their personality in porn? Or do I want to open a café, or maybe do both?"

BAS: When it comes having fun for yourself, like what do you like to do?

HSC: My friends and I go out and eat a lot, [chuckle], it’s very much food-related. My favorite food is burgers and in London we have a competition every year called "The London Burger Bash". That finished in the summer, but I went to that and they'd have different burger places in London, make a burger each and then you'd eat both burgers and you'd vote for the one you like the most, and the one that got the most votes went to the next round. It was kind of like a knockout thing until you got the best burger in London. So, I like going to a lot of food festivals like that.

There's a thing called "Burger Monday", where they take chefs that maybe don't normally cook burgers and they put them in a greasy spoon diner type of café. These are famous chefs at their own fancy restaurants. The chefs for one night will make a menu with a burger in it and they're not known for making burgers, but you can go on that night and you can eat that burger. It’s sort of like a once in a lifetime thing. Even if it's not amazing it all tastes good but it's kind of like, "Oh my God, Nigella Lawson made a burger." My life is pretty much just comics and food.

[chuckle]

It’s funny 'cause people often ask me, "Well, if you're so into food and stuff, do you still eat junk food? Do you still eat McDonald's and stuff?" And I think a lot of the problem with a lot of foodies is they get a bit pretentious, don't they? Like suddenly, they won't eat anything but the best and it has to be organic stuff, and I know that stuff's good, and I eat that stuff too, but does anything really beat a Double Sausage and Egg McMuffin? Really? I can eat all these amazing burgers and if you read my top five burgers, the McDonald's Double Sausage and Egg McMuffin is in there which is a little bit cheeky a lot of people have found, but I still love it.

[chuckle]

I am going to go to a McDonald's in Vegas and I'm going to see what your McBurgers are like. I'll probably cry.

BAS: Yeah, you will.
