MARVEL COMICS WASP BISHOUJO STATUE



Coming in September 2015, Kotobukiya Presents The Wasp! Continuing their lineup of stylized Bishoujo statues based on super heroes and villains from the pages of Marvel Comics with Janet "The Wasp" van Dyne, based on a new character interpretation and illustration by master Japanese artist Shunya Yamashita. "The Winsome Wasp", as she is sometimes called, is usually depicted as having the ability to shrink to a height of several centimeters, grow to giant size, fly by means of insectoid wings, and fire bio-electric energy blasts. She is a founding member of the Avengers as well as a long time leader of the team, appearing in the first issue and giving the team its name. It is with the Avengers that Janet became most well-known The code-name of "The Wasp" was temporarily used by Hank Pym while Janet was presumed dead.

Standing at just about 10.7 inches tall (27 cm),Wasp lightly touches down on a special base designed to look like a splash of water. Wasp looks great in her black and gold costume and iridescent wings. Display alone or alongside other Marvel character inspired Bishoujo statues from Kotobukiya.
