Middle East Film&Comic Con Continues to Grow!



Scheduled for April 9th to 11th, The Middle East Film and Comic Con (http://www.mefcc.com) continues to grow significantly with a target of over 50,000 visitors for the 2015 show and an additional 35% of space booked at the Dubai World Trade Center, with organisers looking to elevate the Dubai based event to the next level.

Headlining celebrity guest for the 2015 edition will be all-round legendary performer William Shatner: known for his role as Captain James T. Kirk of the original Star Trek TV series. A number of other guests have also been revealed as well including Karl Urban: as Éomer in the "Lord of the Rings" trilogy, Dr. Leonard "Bones" McCoy in "Star Trek" (2009), and Judge Dredd in "Dredd" (2012); along with another sci-fi legend, Sam Jones: best known for his iconic role as Flash Gordon, who made one of the most talked about cameos in recent years in the smash hit "Ted". Other guest include artist such as: Des Taylor, Long Vo, and Mark Sable just to name a few. Regional Guest include: Mo Abedin: an active Emirati artist, founder of the Foo Dog brand of designer toys and creator of upcoming Manga - Raiiken, Amna Al Blooshi:one of the winners of Abu Dhabi Art “wings project” for the year 2014. Her work was published in one of New York’s well-known newspapers, and Omai Butti: a filmmaker, TV host and MC of some of Dubai’s most prestigious events and he’s back to talk about the industry and his latest projects! 

MEFCC are thrilled to be working in collaboration with partners such as: 
Live Nation to feature and exclusive concert featuring the band Thirty Seconds to Mars on Friday 10th April. The band is noted for its energetic live performances including their #1 hit singles "From Yesterday", "Kings and Queens", and "This Is War". Other partnerships include LINE, the world's leading life platform with 181 million monthly active users.
